#CLS part 18 – chapter 2 (unpredictable things)

-at home-at your room-

your mom: *knock knock* "(yn), are you in?"

you: *open the door* "yes, mom" jawabmu dengan wajah setengah datar melihat mama dan papamu berdiri didepan pintu

your dad: "we need to talk, (yn)"

you: "okay.. come in?"

your mom & dad are just smiling..

your mom: "(yn), we want to talk about cody.."

you feel a lil bit clumsy because, since your mom was talked about him, you were never talked about it anymore. more for your dad.

your mom: "I think, you were right. mama lupa akan pesan papamu.. hampir lupa tepatnya.." , "maaf kalau mama bersikap ga adil sama kamu.. awalnya.. sebenarnya mama agak berat kalau kamu harus disatukan dengan cody. tapi mama berusaha keras untuk mencari jalan keluarnya and trying to not being selfish. dan mama sudah mendiskusikannya dengan papa" they're staring each other

your dad: "mama kamu merasa sangat bersalah. ditambah lagi dua minggu belakangan ini kamu kelihatan makin lesu ga bersemangat.. jadi.. kami memutuskan untuk menerima hubunganmu dengan cody.."

you: *shocked* "WHAT?? ARE YOU SERIOUS DAD? MOM??"

your parents are shaking their head, they're serious..

you: "wait! tapi gimana kalau tetangga atau teman-teman papa dan mama gosipin keluarga kita??"

your dad: "they don't know anything. only we know everything.."

kamu berdiam sesaat dan agak bingung.. "never mind!" your mind say

you: "seriously, this is the first best time of my life with you mom, dad!! and I will not, forget this!! thank youuu :')"

your mom: "our pleasure, honey :')"

you both are crying and you all are embracing.. that's the sweetest moment with your parents, ever.

-Cody's POV-

*on the phone*

cody: "halo? who's there?" , "...what? are you serious?!?" , "...you're not lying, right?" , "huh? one month left?? OMG!" , "...oh. okay. I will talk to my parents" , "...kay, bye" –pip

-normal POV-pip – pip (one new message)you: can we meet at Christmas eve?

cody: sure I can :) where we will meet?

you: as usual.. there's something I have to say to you :)

cody: what is that?? I should have to say something to you, too..

you: what about?

cody: you will know. I can’t explain it here (text)

you: emm.. okay then :)

cody: :') 1-4-3...

-Saturday-at café-

jwinno: "did you know guys? Shawn Campbell was called me one week ago!"

camp: "Shawn Campbell? who is he??"

jake: "oh my man.. he's a music producer, dude!"

camp: "oh? what he said?"

jwinno: "he said that, when he discovering videos from youtube, he found my video that I uploaded and it was when we performed at school! he feels interested but only with Cody -_- and he sent me a message then he got Cody's phone number"

alli: "have (yn) know about this??"

jwinno: "I don't know"

greyson: "I think she haven't.."

maddy: "I can't imagine if she already knew..."

alli: "me too.."


-6.25p.m-at park-

you: "hey Cody! :D"

cody: "hey (yn) :)"

you: "um... aku punya berita bagus untuk kamu :))"

cody: "apa itu?"

you: "...papa dan mama udah nyetujuin kalo misalkan kita... pacaran :)) :$"

cody: *ekspresi yang agak biasa aja* "oh ya? bagus dong??"

you: "kok ekspresi kamu begitu? :/ ada apa?"

cody: "ah.. hehe. cuma kepikiran sesuatu.."

you: "apa?"

cody: "greyson.. kamu bukannya udah jadi pacar dia?" ucapnya dengan raut wajah sendu

you: "huh?? kamu kata siapa? aku ga pacaran kok sama greyson! :("

cody: "tempo hari aku liat kalian berdua di taman sekolah. kamu meluk dia.. aku kira kamu pacaran :/"

you: "OMG!! itu bukan aku yang meluk, tapi dia. waktu itu dia lagi ngejelasin sesuatu ke aku.. kamu inget ga waktu aku bilang greyson mau pindah ke Amerika?" *he nods* "sebelumnya.. dia bilang kalau alasan dia pergi itu karena aku. tapi nyatanya bukan. he hugged me because I forgive him if he lied at me.. I'm not dating with him, cody.. trust me! :)"

cody: "aww..." then he nods again "so what do you want to say now, (yn)?"

you: "this is about my 'choice'.." , "I-I want to be yours... :$"

in that moment, the time feels like stuck around you. yourself feel like got a heart attack and your face's getting warm. this is the first time you accept someone to be yours and he is someone who you loved. also in that moment, Cody doesn't said anything. he keep quiet and looking deep at you. you more getting nervous. and more, when he closed his eyes then kissed you so suddenly...

cody: "I love you, (yn).. :')" . "why are you freezing?? do you feel cold?"

you: "nope. I just.. I just.. :$ couldn't believe this. this is.. this is the first time.. with you :$" your heartbeat still going faster x_x

cody: "huh? hahaha. I think you wrong :D" . "well.. now is my turn to say something to you.."

you: "oh iya aku hampir lupa.. :$ mau ngomong apa, co?"

cody: *serious face, holds your shoulder* "(yn), seminggu yang lalu aku di telepon seseorang yang namanya Shawn Campbell.. kamu tau itu siapa?"

kamu hanya menggeleng..

cody: *sigh* "dia salah satu produser musik ternama di Amerika.. dan... dia memintaku untuk kerjasama dengan salah satu perusahaan rekamannya.."

you: "and?"

cody: "aku disuruh bilang sama mama dan papa tentang hal ini. dan kalau mereka setuju.. sebulan lagi... "

you: "jangan bilang kalau..."

cody: "calm down please baby. impianku sekarang ada didepan mata. aku tinggal melangkah kedalamnya. aku ingin banget jadi musisi yang bisa menghibur banyak orang lewat laguku. I hope you understand.. please :("

deg - deg - deg...

you: "...baru aja aku merasa bahagia karena kamu udah bisa kembali kerumah dan kita boleh pacaran. baru aja aku pengen cerita kalau aku bisa ngelewatin masa-masa ujian beasiswaku dengan mudah dan itu karena kamu! tapi kenapa tiba-tiba begini... cukup greyson yang pergi ke Amerika. I don't wanna lose someone again, someone who I love!" tangisanmu mulai tak terbendung, emosimu juga meluap. dan tiba-tiba kamu berpikir bahwa rasanya saat itu Tuhan berlaku ga adil banget sama kamu.. x'(

saat cody melihatmu rapuh seperti itu, dia langsung memelukmu dengan erat dan menciumi rambutmu. dia merasa ga tega banget melihat kamu sedih kayak gitu. karena disisi lain dia juga berat kalau sampai ninggalin kamu, tapi dia juga ingin banget meraih impiannya dari kecil.. jadi musisi terkenal..

cody: "I love you. and I will always. although there're a lot of pretty girls outta there and chasing me, maybe. but my heart has stolen by you.. I promise. we'd never break apart" . "I found a way to reach my dream, and I can't looking forward if you're still behind me. please, walk beside me. accompany me :') would you?"

kamu masih terisak dan tangisanmu semakin kencang.. tapi hatimu terasa tenang saat dipelukan cody. then you make a promise in your heart.. you will never forget every single moment with him...



"it's possible that you always forgive someone who hurts you. because they mean the world to you and you will always forgive them.." (I did)
